Chahat Vig, a model and actress, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with "Gumraah", starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur, directed by Vardhan Ketkar.
The movie is scheduled to hit theatres on April 7. In a recent interview, Chahat spoke candidly about her experience working with these phenomenal actors.
During a scene preparation with Mrunal, they had a wholesome conversation where Mrunal shared her perspective on how rejection is part of the process, and if one believes in themselves, they can make anything happen.
Chahat found this thought inspiring and has since kept it with her. Aditya is a music lover and musician himself, and during their conversation, they discussed their approaches towards various genres, their practice techniques, and even acting techniques, which Chahat found insightful.
Chahat shared her journey of how she entered the entertainment industry by saying, "I started with advertisements, such as Pan Bahar with Tiger Shroff, and then became the Everyuth girl and worked for designers/brands like Gopi Vaid, Pernia's pop-up, and many more.
Along with modeling, I was studying music production and composition at Whistling Wood International, a film school.
Towards the end of my second year, I realized my true calling was acting, and I started intensive training at Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares.
After completing my acting school, I auditioned rigorously for films and OTT projects, which resulted in getting selected for 'Gumraah' and three other web series scheduled to release soon."
