Mallika Singh comes from Kashmir where currently she is residing in Mumbai with her grandparents.

Mallika revealed that she had come to Mumbai to meet her aunt when she got selected for the role of Radha.

Mallika was not so keen in acting but in classical dance.

Due to her mothers insistence she went forward with the audition and got selected for the role of Radha.

Mallika further stated that she got selected due to her innocent persona.

Further Mallika learnt Harmoniun and sharpened her vocals for the role of Radha.
