Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla are going to attend a special screening of the film 'The Sabarmati Report' which is scheduled at 7 PM in the Bal Yogi Auditorium, Parliament House.
The event coincides with Vikrant Massey's retirement from acting at 37.
Popularly known for super hit films like '12th Fail', 'Sector 36', and 'Sabarmati Express', Vikrant Massey shared on his social media Instagram account that he will meet his fans for "one last time" in 2025.
Expressing his gratitude for the phenomenal support from the fans, he mentioned that it's time to recalibrate and focus on his family.
He continued in his confession that, "In 2025, we will meet each other for one last time. Until the right time comes again, I will cherish the last two movies and many years of unforgettable memories. Thank you, once more, for each and everything in between."
He concluded his heartfelt message with the words "forever indebted," expressing his profound gratitude to his fans and supporters.
Currently, the reports indicate that Vikrant Massey is busy filming two new projects – 'Yaar Jigri' and 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan.' These two upcoming films are eagerly awaited by fans, as they mark his final performances before he steps away from the limelight to focus on his personal life.
His such big announcement has left many fans emotional, as they prepare to bid farewell to a beloved actor who has left an indelible mark on the industry.
Talking about his last film, The Sabarmati Report is based on the 2002 Godhra train burning incident in Gujarat, and is still running in cinemas.
As per Sacnilk, the film has earned ₹28.25 crore at the domestic box office, in its 17-day run so far. It also turned out to be the biggest opening of Vikrant's solo lead career when it released in cinemas last month.
