Talvar, the crime thriller based on the real life story of the Aarushi Talwar murder case, stunned everyone with a fantastic box office opening. The film earned around Rs 3 crore on day one after impressive paid previews of Rs 50 lakh a day before its release.
Despite off facing tough competition from the big release of the week Singh Is Bliing and Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Talvar has done remarkably well at the ticket counters amid positive reviews from the critics.
The total collections of the film now stand at a total of Rs 3 crore and with an extended weekend, it is expected to do well at the box office.
