Set up in the backdrop of Rajasthan state, Mittal Family is a rich affluent family who run a big business in the city and their elder son Chirag is a young and talented doctor. On the other hand, Deepika hails from a middle-class family and she has been living a miserable life since childhood after her mother’s demise. Her father Yashwant marries a cunning lady Shobha who tortures Deepika for being a dark-skinned girl while her own daughter has a fair complexion. The story challenges the society stereotype wherein the people judge girls with their dark skin. However, Chirag’s mindset is opposite to this and that is why he falls in love with Deepika when destiny keeps bringing them face to face again and again. His mother Lavanya meets Jhanvi and fixes her wedding with her younger son Prithvi but she happens to fall in one-sided love with Chirag. Lavanya cancels Prithvi and Jhanvi’s wedding after knowing Deepika’s truth that she is not a maid but Jhanvi’s step-sister. However, Deepika urges Chirag to save Jhanvi’s alliance and the latter somehow convinces Lavanya to get Prithvi and Jhanvi married. Lavanya agrees but with a condition that Deepika will not attend the wedding.

Shobha and her evil mother is planning to get Deepika married to Birju so that they can get her land. Chirag here is falling for Deepika and is worried about how she is being tortured everywhere. Chirag marries Deepika and brings her home for a new beginning. Janhvi is unhappy with this marriage and she too comes to Mittal house to ruin the reputation of Deepika.
