The real story of GHKKPM revolves around Tejaswini Chavhan, a huge fan of rockstar Ruturaj Rane. Ruturaj is born into a wealthy family, while Dr. Neel is his brother, a doctor by profession, and a hidden singer. Tejaswini lives with her parents, Mohit and Mukta, and younger brother, Vedaan. The story takes a dramatic turn with Mohit's troubled marriage and his subsequent demise. His last wish was to see Dr. Neel and Tejaswini married.
