Vijayendra Kumeria and Kritika Singh starrer Deewaniyat to go off-air

Indian Television recently launched a Hindi TV serial Deewaniyat on Star Plus starring actors Vijayendra Kumeria and Kritika Singh Yadav in the lead character roles of Dev and Mannat. At the same time, actor Navneet Malik was also the part of the show in the earlier days.

The show had a good opening in the TRP chart but eventually it failed to impress the audience for long. Despite having a promising cast in the show, it showed no significant rise in the TRPs and thus the show is now going to face bad consequences because of it’s poor performance.

The channel has now decided to pull the plug on the show because this week too, the show secured a mere 0.7 points on the TRP charts. Although there is no confirmation from the channel or the actors, the show’s ending may not come forth as a surprise to the audience and the fans.

Vijayendra Kumeria and Kritika Singh Yadav’s onscreen chemistry

The show Deewaniyat is currently revolving around the budding love of Dev and Mannat after their namesake marriage relationship. 

Actors Vijayendra Kumeria was last seen in Teri Meri Doriyaan while Kritika Singh Yadav is popular for her character role in Dharampatni opposite actor Fahmaan Khan. The show Deewaniyat is produced by the same producer who produced Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein (GHKKPM), that is Shaika and Cockrow Films.

The actors shared a nice chemistry onscreen and the fans even showered love on them but the show is unfortunately going to end.
