Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on star plus have been making several changes in it's story type post Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and Kartik (Mohsin Khan) getting separated.
Naira and Kartik have been separated from their parents Swarna and Manish for Kartik's own reasons.
Now, there is a sudden goon attack on Kartik's new house post shifting to the new house with Naira.
Accidentaly Swarna gets a call from Naira's number and Swarna gets to know that Naira's life is in danger.
Swarna saves Naira's life which makes Kartik very thankful towards Swarna.
Kartik for the very first time gets the realization that Swarna is a good mother who came for Naira's help on time.
It would be interesting to watch as to how would Naira also plan some other such incidences purposely to bring closer Swarna and Kartik?
