In Beyhadh there are many situations which would predict about Maya's mental problem to Arjun.
Arjun have been with Saanjh as Saanjh required her friend for sympathy of Saanjh's father's death.
Now, Maya could not bear this that Arjun is staying with Saanjh to console Saanjh and giving least attention to Maya.
Maya plans to kill Jahnvi so that even Arjun would give sympathy to Maya post her murder.
Maya soon gets successful in her plan of killing Jhanvi by drowning Jhanvi in water filled tub.
