Star Plus one of the most popular TV Serial 'Ishqbaaz' is all for a generation leap.

Producer Gul Khna has confirmed the generation where she also revealed that the leap is necessary because Ishqbaaz cannot survive with dismal ratings.

The generation leap will come with the beginning of new year where after Actor Nakuul Mehta will play the role of Shivaay and Anika's son Shivaansh Singh Oberoi.

The entire cast of Ishqbaaz will change except Nakuul Mehta who will be seen as Shivaansh Singh Oberoi.
