Kratika Sengar in born and brought up in Kanpur.

She started her career working in an advertising agency and later she also worked for Hungama TV.

Kratika started her career in acting with the extremely popular Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi where she played the role of Saanchi.

However, Kratika started getting popularity for her role in Kasauti Zindagi Ki.

Kratika’s most famous show till date is Punar Vivah where she played the role of Aarti opposite Gurmeet Chaudhary.

Kartika has also played the lead role in the show Jhansi Ki Rani playing the role of Rani Lakshmibai.
