Balika Vadhu news: After 8 years, Anandi (Toral Rasputra) and Nimboli’s (Gracy Goswami) popular show to get pulled off air

The longest running showsof Colors channel Balika Vadhu will very soon go off air.

The makers are planning to end the show very soon and replace it with a fresh drama based show.

Balika Vadhu was launched in July 2008 and has been successfully running on prime time since the past 8 years.

However, the channel has decided to pull the plugs on the show because of a steady decline in the TRP’s.

New drama series to replace Balika Vadhu

The story centers around Anandi’s journey from being a child bride to becoming an adult who is against child marriage.

The show has taken several leaps which has also focused the journey of Anandi’s daughter Nimboli.

The new show taking the place of Balika Vadhu is still being planned out by the makers and they are still searching for the lead actors.
