80’s popular historical TV Serial Ramayana is back on the screens of Doordarshan channel.
Ramayana, aired on DD National from 1987-1988 is the iconic evergreen historical series based on Valmiki’s Ramayan and Tulsidas’s Ramcharitmanas which is Hindus Holy Book.
Amid the India lockdown of 21 days in the wake of pandemic Coronavirus COVID-19, DD National is launching back Ramayana from March 28 at 9 am onwards.
The show will be telecast on DD National in morning 9 am to 10 pm and another episode in evening 9 pm to 10 pm.
Union Minister of information and broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar made the announcement.
The series stars actor Arun Govil as Ram, Dara Singh as Hanuman, Deepika Chikhalia as Sita, Arvind Trivedi as Ravana and Sunil Lahri as Laxman.
The main motive behind bringing the most successful series back on the series is to get people engaged when the whole India is locked down and the world is fighting with the serious pandemic.
Ram Sita will once again fall in love, the auspicious miracles of Lord Ram will come true again where the fight between the good and the evil, Ram and Ravana will once again begin.
