Chakravartin Ashok Samrat is all set to take a time leap which will bring about the introduction of Mohit Raina in the lead role as Ashok.
Till now it was seen that Siddharth Nigam was essaying the role of young Ashok and he also managed to gain a lot of popularity.
However, the show has taken a 10 year leap and Mohit will step into Siddharth’s shoes essaying the role of king Ashok.
After the time leap, Ashok will be seen as a merciless king.
Ashok will be seen taking revenge from his enemies post the time leap.
Actress Soumya Seth will be seen playing Kaurvaki who will be Ashok’s love interest.
Mohit Raina was last seen in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev where he played the lead role.
The show’s 10 year leap track will start off from 2nd May 2016 onwards.
