Star Plus most popular and longest running show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which has been ruling the TRP charts, has recently changed its storyline.

Naira Singhania Goenka is no more in the show due to her untimely death makers introduced a new character ‘Sirat’, played by Shivangi Joshi.

So far, fans are loving to see their favorite Shivangi in a completely new avatar.

For the role, Shivangi had to change her whole get-up and transform herself into Sirat- A boxer.

In the new role, Sirat's ambition is to become Mary Kom and prays every morning post waking up.

Shivangi today took to her Instagram handle and shared videos of her practice sessions where she is seen gearing up for her role.

She even thanked her trainer for training her.

The actress wrote, “#sirat and boxing both were something very new to me. To be Sirat I had to learn the art of boxing. I must admit that boxing is one of the toughest sports I have come across. One wrong move and the game's over. It does require a lot of precision, accuracy, power and swiftness. A special thank you to my amazing trainer @balkrishnashetty08 for making me do this rigorous training in such a short span of time.”

Shivangi Joshi gained a lot of appreciation and love from the fans when she essayed the role of Naira.

Mohsin Khan aka Kartik and her pair are still very much loved and fans want to see them together again.

In real most of the fans want to see Shivangi Joshi back as Naira but nevertheless they are enjoying Sirat's new journey too.

As per the latest episode Kairav have already seen Sirat in the boxing ring and has assumed her to be Naira.

Sirat to change Kartik and Kairav's life

Furthermore Kairav also met Sirat in his field trip where he hugged her and called her Mumma.

Unfortunately Sirat shove off Kairav and did not show any affection for little Kairav leaving him heart broken.

Hence Kairav informs the same to Kartik and calls him to meet Sirat.

It would be interesting to see what happen next on the show when Kartik meets Sirat.
