The shocking twist in the story of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is that Kartik kidnaps Sirat.
When Sirat tries to escape from the hospital but falls unconscious, Kartik takes Sirat in his lap.
Kartik makes the unconscious Sirat sit in his car.
Poor Sirat is asleep while Kartik is taking Sirat to Kairav.
When amid the way, Sirat wakes up and rebels against Kartik, Kartik compels Sirat to visit his son.
Sirat punches Kartik and pushes him away but stubborn Kartik grabs Sirat's hand and pulls her back.
