Anupamaa: Aashish aka Paritosh back on sets of the show

Actor Aashish Mehrotra aka Paritosh has being missing from the episodes since a few days.

He was asked about his break. He said, “Well, I guess, it was a much needed break. I hadn’t taken many offs since past two and a half years and wanted some quality time with myself and my family. Apart from that, the previous track was quite a heavy one, it took a toll on me and I really required some time off to introspect and rethink into a few things and now when I'm back on the sets of ‘Anupamaa’ again, I feel very refresh and have a great positive energy”.

When asked about the infidelity track, Aashish said, “I was most unsure about doing those scenes. I wasn’t informed way before about the track and hence I wasn’t prepared for it, nor was I expecting something like that. I was informed about the track in the morning and had to perform those scenes that particular day itself. I was in a fix and had many confusing thoughts but then I had people like the master blaster producer Mr. Rajan Shahi, Creative Director of the show Ketaki and the amazing team of writers with me and I planned to believe in the conviction of the team and performed the scene accordingly.”

He further added, “I must say, I always like the range of emotions that a character gets to play and I was so happy that I could get this opportunity to perform such hard-hitting scenes. I was sceptical as to how audiences will receive the track and to my pleasant surprise people praised my performance a lot. I feel extremely blessed to be a part of this show and have immense gratitude for the viewers to have always praised my work”.
