As per the latest promo of ZEE TV upcoming serial Maitree it is seen that Maitree (Shrenu Parikh) is stuck in ablaze where she cannot find her way out.

Outside the house Maitree's best friend Nandini (Bhaweeka Chaudhary) asks her husband Ashish (Namish Taneja) to save the life of her bestie Maitree.

When Ashish does not think of anything else where he risk his life and jumps in the wildfire to save Maitree.

Maitree screams for Ashish for help when he reaches there and brings Maitree out safely.

Maitree questions Ashish for risking his life for her sake when Ashish reveals the fact that Maitree is his wife Nandini's best friend and thus he had to save her life.

This happy moment is short-lived when Maitree blames her friends Ashish and Nandini for the big betrayal of her life.
