Sony entertainment television is launching a new Hindi TV serial Kavya Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon starring actors Mishkat Verma and Sumbul Touqeer Khan in the lead character roles as Adhiraj and Kavya Bansal.
Kavya is an IAS Officer and is determined to stand up for every poor who falls victim to the rich, politically powerful people of the society.
In the new promo, Kavya Bansal is seen doing a stand-up take on how society calls women Chudail (WITCH) even if their son is at fault.
She calls out how society claps for women until their lipstick shade is bright but not so bright, they go on the trips but only with their husbands. However, just when women start to become independent and take their decisions themselves, then they become chudail for the society.
Papa Ki PARI, Pati Ki Chaya, Bhai Ka Guroor, everything is okay but when we women become independent, then only they are called chudail.
After all this, she takes a dig at how society becomes biased when it comes to men but always calls Women chudail.
Kavya is an IAS officer and she has taken oath to stand up against the wrong and she is ready to fulfil her duties at any cost.
However, will her journey be this easy as it seems?
The show is going on-air from 25th September taking the time slot of 7:30 PM.
