It seems Ruhi used to love Abhimanyu a lot where she used to think Abhimanyu is her father.

Later she reaslied and she wanted the marriage of Abhimanyu and aarohi to take place.

However Akshara returned with son Abhir where the entire scenario changed.

Abhimanyu got the custody of Abhir post which he had to return Abhir to Akshara as he was happy to live with them only.
