Agastya gets scared of losing everything and even the company which his dad served with honesty and loyalty.

Though he insults Imlie to the core, the twist in the tale comes up when Imlie plays her smart move and controls Sonali before she reveals the truth.

And all this happens when she witnesses Sonali and Amrit's photo frame.

Imlie blackmails Sonali 

Finally, when Imlie finds out that Amrit is Sonali's husband, she thus gets Amrit's video from the bar and sends the same to Sonali.

Sonali's ground gets shaken to the core and she fails to accept Amrit's such huge betrayal.

Therefore, you will now see Imlie's masterstroke finally making Sonali step back from the post of Director,

And that's when Annapurna announces Agastya as the Company's director.
