Doree: BIG TRUTH! Doree turns out Kailashi Devi's Granddaughter

Colors newly launched Hindi TV serial Doree is all set to witness the life struggles story of the little girl Doree and how she faces the stereotypical mindset of Banaras wherein Girls are still given less priority than boys.

The story witnesses the struggling life of a middle-class man Ganga Prasad who is unmarried but becomes a father when he finds a baby girl in the Ganga River.

Therefore, you will now see Ganga Prasad taking care of his daughter Doree.

However, the big twist in the tale is that Doree is Kailashi Devi's granddaughter and her real blood.

Mansi takes drastic step to save Doree  

In the fresh episode of the show, you will see Mansi giving birth to a baby girl but Kailashi Devi hates girls because the legacy can only be run by sons and not girls.

Thus, Mansi takes the drastic step of taking Doree away from the house at midnight to save her life.

However, when her husband catches her, he gives Doree to a woman to kill her.

Thankfully, the story takes an interesting U-turn when the Goddess Durga saves Doree and brings her to Ganga Prasad who sees her and saves her life.
