Hailing from a poor middle-class family, Pragya is the daughter of Sarla Arora and sister to Bulbul who together run a marriage hall. Sarla is concerned for Pragya’s marriage when soon a dashing and famous rockstar singer Abhishek ‘Abhi’ Mehra crosses paths with Pragya. Unfortunately, they fall on each other’s bad side when Abhi’s sister Aaliya gets her brother Abhi married to Pragya. Abhi and Pragya live in a loveless marriage wherein Abhi’s ex-lover Tanu creates chaos in their lives and she is determined to snatch Pragya from Abhi. Aaliya and Tanu become big villains in their love life but soon Abhi realizes his love for Pragya. After the kidnapping, pregnancy, murder, death, memory loss and lots of drama, eventually, after one month, Pragya returns alive being pregnant with Abhira’s babies.
7 years later, Pragya is now living with her daughter Kiara wherein a famous rapper King Singh, in London is taking care of them as his family. Abhira got married to Tanu but he still desires for Pragya and misses her, Thus, fate brings them face off and they reconcile forgetting the painful past. Pragya gets pregnant and now she gives birth to twin girls, Prachi and Rhea. Shockingly, Kiara is murdered by Tanu’s ex-boyfriend Nikhil. Therefore, this is what separates Abhi and Pragya again as they blame each other for Kiara’s death. Abhi keeps Rhea with him while Pragya takes Prachi with her.
20 years later (Second-generation), Abhi and Pragya’s twin daughters Rhea and Prachi have grown up wherein destiny entangles them in a triangle love story with the same guy Ranbir Kohli. Ranbir plays love game with Prachi to prove his love to Rhea but he falls in love for real after multiple incidents. Prachi sacrifices her love for Abhi and Pragya’s reunion. However, Ranbir and Prachi get married with Pragya’s blessing and this makes Abhi and Rhea hate Pragya to the core. Shocking incidents happen after this marriage when the Kohli Family disowns Ranbir and Prachi while Pragya meets with an accident and she is presumed to be dead.
2 years later, Pragya returns from Australia to take revenge on Abhi as she assumed that he got her killed by Tanu and Aaliya. Ranbir and Prachi get acceptance in family and they live a happy married life when Rhea married Siddarth. However, soon when Abhi and Pragya reunite in love, they together meet with a tragic accident and slip into coma state. Ranbir and Prachi also get separated. After 1 month, when Ranbir goes to marry Rhea, Prachi comes into action mode and she exposes Aaliya who killed Abhi and Pragya in their coma state. Aaliya runs from jail and kidnaps Panchi (Ranbir and Prachi’s daughter). Ranbir blames Prachi and they are separated, shockingly, Prachi meets with an accident and dies.
6 years later, Prachi lives in Bangalore, Ranbir and Kohlis are bankrupt while Khushi (Panchi) is living a poor life. Soon the couple finds out Khushi’s real identity and they marry Akshay and Rhea for Khushi’s custody. Aaliya returns to ruin Prachi’s life and she manipulates Rhea to marry Ranbir. Ranbir realizes his love for Prachi and he goes to stop her marriage with Akshay but they duos already got married. Ranbir turns revengeful against Prachi who fakes marriage Akshay. After 3 months, Ranbir returns as Mihika’s lover and he creates chaos for Akshay and Prachi. Ranbir and Prachi reconcile and decide to marry each other but Akshay and Mihika turn villains. Mihika kills Akshay and the blame comes on Ranbir. Thus, when Prachi comes to know about her pregnancy, here the police vehicle which was shifting Ranbir to jail falls into a ditch and he is assumed to be dead.
20 Years Leap (Third-generation)
Ranbir and Prachi’s second daughter Purvi has grown. Prachi and Purvi live with Akshay’s family who is bankrupt and poor wherein they have a catering business named ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. Khushi is married into a rich family wherein she considers Prachi responsible for Ranbir and Akshay’s death. Ranbir is a big business tycoon, now named Krishna Kakkar or KK who marries Trishna. Meanwhile, RV aka Rajvansh Malhotra is a rich and famous businessman who has rivalry with KK. RV soon meets Purvi and marries her but only to take revenge on her for how her sister Khushi ruined his life. However, love starts to blossom between them when Monisha starts playing dirty games against them. Meanwhile, Ranbir and Prachi meet each other after a horrible kidnapping and terrorist attack incident.
Ranbir is about to know about Purvi and Khushi whereas RV and Purvi are about to confess their love.
