Star Plus serial Maati Se Bandhi Dor has an interesting storyline where Vaijanti aka Vaiju is seen as farmer and she likes to do the work which has strength in the same. Vaiju is hard working girl who takes care of her entire family members. Vaiju’s mother is cunning woman who never wanted Vaiju to get married and played cunning ploy to stop her marriage.
But Ranvijay comes in her fate where he falls in love with Vaiju’s younger sister Jaya and wants to marry her. Being unaware of the fact Vaiju also falls in love with Ranvijay. Vaiju dreams big to marry Ranvijay and when Jaya learns the truth she sacrifices her love for the sake of Ranvijay and Vaiju’s union.
Moving ahead Vaiju also learns that Jaya and Ranvijay were dating each other and hence she breaks the marriage with Ranvijay. Tragedy strikes when Ranvijay and Vaiju get stuck in heavy rain and have to spend a night together.
Villagers feel they got intimate and hence they forcibly get them married. Ranvijay and Vaiju does not believe this marriage and he marries Jaya owing to their love keeping his marriage with Vaiju a secret. Now in the meantime Ranvijay and Vaiju have started to understand each other well.
Ranvijay has changed his mindset towards Vaiju and respects her a lot. He wants her to get all the required education in her life to turn a successful business woman ahead with Jaya's consent. Jaya is still unaware of the marriage truth of Ranvijay and Vaiju.
Ranvijay and Vaiju have started to develop love feelings for each other and they are confused.
