Kumkum Bhagya 2.0 Latest News: New Star Cast! Actor Kushal Tandon to play male lead character

One of the most watched and the longest running ZEE TV serial Kumkum Bhagya which is currently the love story of Rajvansh aka RV (Abrar Qazi) and Purvi (Rachi Sharma) is surprisingly going to bid adieu very soon.

The show recently stayed in buzz for simply taking a 4-5 years leap allowing the existing cast to continue but with a new storyline. However, due to a drastic decline in TRP ratings even in the prime-time slot, the channel has asked the makers to revive the show.

Therefore, the upcoming new phase is going to be called ‘Kumkum Bhagya 2.0’ which will feature an entirely fresh storyline and the star cast. Moreover, it is expected that the upcoming new generation leap will eliminate all the existing characters bringing in new faces to steer the narrative forward.

Thus, actor Kushal Tandon is now the new male lead of the show and producer Ekta Kapoor is quite adamant about casting him believing he will perfectly fit the storyline.

Actor Kushal Tandon is almost finalized in the show but the search for the actress is still going on.

At the same time this revamped version of the show is going to premiere next month just before IPL 2024 and will reportedly have no connection to the previous generation.
