India's Harnaaz Sandhu crowned Miss Universe 2021 title

Miss Universe is a beauty pageant that is run by the Miss Universe Organisation of the United States.

The Miss Universe 2021 will always be special for us as Harnaaz Sandhu brought home the crown after 21 years.

The internet is filled with wishes for Harnaaz as netizens applauded her win.

The 70th Miss Universe was held on 12th December 2021.

The 70th Miss Universe “Harnaaz Sandhu” was crowned at the end of the event by “Alma Andrea Meza Carmona” who was the 69th Miss Universe.

Nadia Ferreira of Paraguay and Lalela Mswane of South Africa were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The 70th Miss Universe Winner Prize is about $250,000 (including sponsor perks), and the delegate who will be Miss Universe 2021 will take about the $250,000 prize home with herself.

India's Harnaaz Sandhu becomes Miss Universe

The show was hosted by the worlds' loved one Steve Harvey.

Harnaaz Sandhu is 21 years old and she comes from Chandigarh, India.

In a speech on stage during the pageant, Harnaaz said, "know that you are unique and that's what makes you beautiful, stop comparing yourself to others.

"I believed in myself, and that's why I'm standing here today," she added, to loud applause from the audience.

The pageant was held in the resort city of Eilat, with 80 women from around the world competing for the crown.
