Erica Fernandes opens up about her past relationships, says it made her a strong person

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi fame Erica Fernandes has gained an immense fan following after playing the role of a strong-headed Sonakshi opposite Shaheer Sheikh.

Erica opened up about facing body shaming while she worked on movies in the film industry.

She said that she had to put on thigh pads as she was skinny as the makers of the films wanted 'voluptuous women'.

Further, when asked about her relationship status, the actress quipped that she is not currently dating anyone.

She also revealed about her past relationships saying that she had an 'off-and-on relationship' for about three and a half years but it didn't work out.

Erica reveals about her past relationships

She said, “People comment on why have I never mentioned who was my boyfriend at that point of time. Because I have never mentioned anybody’s names before because that’s a respect. You know, no one wants the world to know their name or who I am with. That’s a respect I have shown. It should be like that.”

“I have never hidden and I don’t find the need to hide anything. I have been a person, I have been private, yes. But, also, I have a level of respect where I know how much to share and if that person is comfortable with sharing things, I will share. If not, I won’t.”

Further opening about her post-breakup phase she said, “I have fallen twice and become stronger. And that has made me a very strong person. So, the next person I know, I know I’m not going to have someone who takes me for granted.”
