Anupama: Sudhanshu Pandey on bearing negative comments for his character Vanraj Shah

Sudhanshu plays a grey character in the show 'Anupama' which revolves around the story of a middle-aged housewife who breaks the gender stereotype making her own identity.

Sudhanshu Pandey who plays the character of Vanraj recently spoke about the negative comments he receives on social media because of his character Vanraj Shah in the show Anupama.

Speaking to ETimes, the actor shared that initially, it was difficult for him to understand the reactions he received from people on social media.
He was quoted saying, “They start believing that what I play on show is the real me. I had to bear the trolling and negative comments on social media because of my character.”

Sudhanshu said, “A couple of months later, he called me for Anupama, but before that he prepared me for around a month regarding the working style of television. The long working hours... I realized it's not going to be luxurious like films. It will be tough."
