The show has been new for the character of Daya Ben.

Disha Vakani used to play the character of Daya in the show and not the audience is upset due to Disha not returning to the show.

The makers of the show have also started the auditions for the role of Daya and it seems that the makers have shortlisted an actor for the role of Daya.

The recent episode that was aired on TV about the entry of Daya left the fans enraged.

However, there was a sound recording of Daya played in the episode which was different from the voice of Disha Vakani.

Rakhi Vijan to play the new Daya Ben?

As the fans hoped Disha to return however the makers showed a cut-out of Dayaben.

A source told IANS: "Rakhi Vijan has been approached for essaying the role of Dayaben. Rakhi is one among the most talented actresses. She has a fine comic timing."

Rakhi Vijan has been earlier part of shows like 'Dekh Bhai Dekh', 'Banegi Apni Baat', 'Naagin 4'. She has also featured in Bollywood movies like 'Golmaal Returns'. The actress also participated in 'Bigg Boss 2'.
