Naagin 6 actress Mahek Chahal loses Rs 49,000 becomes victim of scam

Mahek Chahal who is currently seen in the Colors show Naagin 6 faced an online fraud.

According to a leading portal, Mahek has become the latest victim of courier fraud and she lost Rs 49,000 from her foreign bank account after the fraudster made her pay Rs 10 through a website to complete the registration process for sending a parcel.

Mahek immediately lodged a complaint and her FIR has been registered under the cyber wing.

Mahek Chahal told that while checking the internet regarding a courier service to send a parcel in Gurugram, the person who told that he would assist her asked her to visit a website and complete the registration by transferring 10 rupees on the website.

Mahek Chahal becomes victim of fraud

He asked about the mode of payment and told me that he was using Google Pay.

However, when she tried to make the payment via Google Pay, it didn’t go through.

After that, he shared a link for payment and within 20 seconds, her money got deducted.

The police have filed an FIR against an unknown person for impersonation and cheating for stealing Mahel's UPI transaction ID number.

The actress has to cancel her Naagin shoot and deal with this incident the entire day.
