Arvind Vaidya (Bapuji) of Anupama Fame Breaks Silence on His Show Absence

Arvind Vaidya, known as Bapuji from the popular show Anupama, has been absent from the series for nearly a month.

As the storyline focuses on Anupama's departure to the US to manage a dance academy, Bapuji's character has not been seen in recent episodes.

In a recent interview, veteran actor Arvind Vaidya explained the reason behind his absence, revealing that he is currently on a pre-planned vacation in the US, which made it impossible for him to shoot for the show.

Vaidya shared, "I had already applied for leave and booked our tickets in January, as my son and his family reside in Atlanta. My wife and I departed for the US on June 4, before this track was planned. I had shot my episodes in advance and left. In the television industry, storylines are not always planned ahead of time. It can be quite unpredictable."

Although Vaidya expressed his longing to be on the set of Anupama during this crucial track, he mentioned that the trip was planned well in advance and couldn't be altered.

While enjoying his vacation abroad, Vaidya shared delightful experiences of being invited to various public functions and cherishing moments with his family and grandchildren.

Vaidya is expected to return on July 6 and resume shooting for the show thereafter.

Fans of Anupama can look forward to his return and the continuation of the storyline in his absence.
