Indian Idol 12: Pawandeep Rajan wins the trophy Arunita and Sayali runner up

The Grand finale of Indian Idol 12 took place on August 15 and before the results were announced the six contestants went to have blast by performing with the finest singers.

Pawandeep impressed the audience with his back-to-back hit songs.

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra made an appearance on the show.

After a tough competition, Mohd Danish, Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Sayli Kamble, Shanmukhapriya, and Nihal Tauro had made it to the top six of Indian Idol 12.

Pawandeep Rajan takes home the winner's trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh.

Indian Idol 12 was the longest season and it ended with a bang

The current judges Anu Malik, Himesh Reshammiya, and Sonu Kakkar also performed during the finale.

While Pawandeep Rajan won the 12-hour grand finale of Indian Idol 12 on Sunday, Arunita Kanjilal and Sayli Kamble were runners-up.

From the Top 6 Finalists, Arunita Kanjilal and Sayli Kamble were declared the first and second runners-up respectively and were awarded a cheque of Rs. 5 lakhs respectively.
