It was was earlier seen that Nandini learns from Rohan that Samar's life is in danger.

Rohan tricks Nandni and asks her to leave for US back or else she will find her Samar dead.

Nandini cannot afford to lose Samar and not allow him to die because of her dirty past.

Hence she packs her bags and decides to run back to US when Anupama meets her.

Anupama stops Nandini where she is shocked to see marks on Nandini's face and neck.
