Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey was found hanging in a hotel room at Varanasi on Sunday in Sarnath area.
She was in the city for shooting of a Bhajpuri movie which is yet to finish. The police have informed her family about the incident and have started an investigation to confirm any foul play.
Akanksha, born on October 21, 1997, in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh was fond of dancing and acting from a young age.
She began her acting career on TikTok and Instagram by sharing her short dancing and acting reels.
Even on Saturday night just before she hanged herself, she shared a video on her Instagram handle where she was seen dancing and absolutely normal.
The actress was a resident of Parsipur which comes under the Chauri police station area of Bhadohi district.
She was in a relationship with her co star Samar Singh.
