In the Sony Entertainment Television series Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum (HRNRH), Samar seeks revenge on Damayanti by endangering Maan's life.

It was earlier seen how Maan tracks down Samar’s hand behind trapping Sam in the drug scandal and at the same time, he also gets strong evidence against him.

Samar fakes his affair with Swati and stops Maan from exposing him before Damayanti.

A huge storm hits the Barot Family when Samar brings Maan to an isolated place and here he confesses all his filthy crimes before him and even tells his real relationship with him, that is his step-brother.
