Female centric contents specially the ones depicting female friendships are being highly appreciated.
Netflix’s new drama Firefly Lane starring Katherine Heigl and Sarrah Chalke in lead roles tells the story of one such friendship between the lead female protagonists.
Inspired by the novel of Kristin Hannah these ten episodic series will stream on Netflix on the third of February.
The story revolves around the two different girls Tully (Katherine Heigl) and Kate (Sarrah Chalke) who became friends at the age of 14.
The two have a completely different personality. While Tully is highly extrovert, Kate comes across as shy introvert.
However, their friendship bond is very tight and they survive 30 years of ups and downs together.
Tully goes to become a famous broadcasting journalist while Kate chooses to settle down with marriage and kids.
But finally, an ultimate test is put to their friendship.
As seen in the trailer a frustrated Kate is seen lashing out at Tully that she is so busy in her success she forgets what if feels like to be the rest of them.
Will their friendship survive the test of time?
