Anupama 5th February 2023 written update Anupama declares in front of guests Maya is Anu's biological mother

Episode begins with Anupama thanking Maya for giving birth to Anu and they are really happy to have her.

Maya gets emotional and Anupama then makes an announcement that Maya is Anu's mother and the guests stand shocked.

Vanraj finds this act stupid but Samar says Anupama is brave enough to do that. It takes a lot of courage.

Anuj gets upset with Anupama and she feels she hurt him but it's for everyone's good only. Anu holds Maya's hand leaving Anuj's hand.

Maya feels thankful towards Anupama. Vanraj tells Anuj that he can relate with the latter's pain and he is in his side to expose Maya's true colors.

He adds Maya is both playing with Anupama and Kavya's lives. There Sushma avoids Arun at the party who is Ankush's guest and tries to misbehave with her.

Anu cuts her birthday cake and Kapadias give a dance performance with Shahs. Anu requests Maya and Anupama to present a special dance.

Anuj thanks everyone for the amazing performances. Later Hasmukh and Leela gift the anklet to Anu and the latter gets happy.

Maya slaps Ankush

Anupama says their blessings are enough though. Leela says they felt Anu might not celebrate her birthday with them next year so they brought it.

There Sushma slaps Arun and Maya supports her. Ankush arrives and starts pointing at Maya and Sushma's characters.

She feels insulted and slaps him out of anger. She thinks why her truth had to come out during Anu's birthday celebration only.

Later she accepts that she was a bar dancer before. Ankush taunts her for trying to gain sympathy.
