The current episode starts with Anupama begging Anuj to at least give Malti Devi a single chance to explain herself. Anuj finally gives in.

Malti Devi confesses her big dreams and big goals wherein she struggled a lot to learn dance and make her dream come true.

Malti Devi recalls her marriage, her husband doing a job of clerk and how she tried her best to become a good wife and thought that she will live her happiness in her child but eventually she failed to move on.

Anuj stands teary eyes when Malti Devi confesses how in the end she chose her career after she gave birth to him and got the opportunity in foreign.

Anupama gets shocked when Malti Devi says how she wants to become a big dancer and so she gave up on Anuj.

Anuj apologizes to Malti that her husband and her family didn’t support her career but she should have taken a chance to fulfil her dream after becoming mother.

Anuj tongue lashes Malti Devi for being selfish and leaving her child.

Anuj mentally breaks down 

After all the years, Anuj now questions Malti Devi if she didn’t remember him after fulfilling her dream. He defends Maya saying at least she came for Choti Anu after 4 years but she (Malti Devi) didn’t come even after 40 years.

Malti Devi cries bitterly and apologizes to Anuj but the latter says he will never accept her as his mother.

Anuj tells Anupama that if Malti Devi lives in the house then he will leave the house.

Anuj emotionally breaks down in his room while here, Vanraj, Barkha and Baa tongue lash Malti Devi.

Choti Anu hugs Anuj and the latter cries.
