In the upcoming story of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan will plan a heartwarming surprise to comfort Abhira.

Abhira, Armaan, and Ruhi decide to go on a trip together to spend some quality time, but things do not go that smoothly.

Ruhi secretly consumes coffee after getting irritated by Abhira’s nagging about taking care of herself at this stage of pregnancy.

Abhira leaves for a meeting, during which Ruhi ends up being sick, with Armaan taking her to the hospital.

Armaan gets upset at Ruhi after the doctor reveals that Ruhi’s condition got bad because she should not drink coffee anymore.

However, with the doctor’s reassurance regarding Ruhi’s good health, Armaan and Ruhi hear the baby’s heartbeat for the first time.

Meanwhile, Abhira struggles to get to the hospital after getting the news of Ruhi being sick but Armaan asks her to return to the hotel.

Ruhi assures Abhira and Armaan that she will not be careless anymore, after which she tells Abhira about hearing the baby’s heartbeat.

Abhira hears her baby's heartbeat for the first time

Seeing Armaan and Ruhi talking so excitedly, Abhira gets sad that she did not get to witness her baby’s heartbeat earlier.

Abhira cries by herself, regretting not reaching the hospital on time, when she gets surprised to see firecrackers in the sky, saying, “Pookie loves Mumma”

Armaan surprises Abhira with the recorded sound of their baby’s heartbeat, making Abhira emotional.

As Abhira says that she is feeling left out, Armaan assures her that the two of them will continue to comfort each other in case one of them misses any important moments of their baby.

Armaan reminds Abhira that she is already the mother of his baby, and he cannot bear to watch Abhira get sad.

Abhira and Armaan hug each other, with Abhira feeling a bit better due to Armaan’s sweet words and gestures.
