In the upcoming story of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kaveri will declare Ruhi as the real mother of Armaan and Abhira’s unborn baby.

While Ruhi is pregnant with Armaan and Abhira’s baby, Abhira feels sad at times as she is unable to experience motherhood herself.

Abhira wishes that she could also be able to connect to her pookie baby through her body, which is not possible in the current scenario.

To fulfil this little wish of hers, Abhira places a cushion on her stomach like a baby bump and dances by herself in her room.

Abhira feels happy for some moments, and she tries to experience having her baby in her womb, but that fantasy soon breaks.

Abhira loses her balance and ends up falling, after which Vidya comes to comfort Abhira.

Vidya says that she understands how Abhira is missing the feeling of being pregnant, but Kaveri announces that Abhira’s actions are immature.

Kaveri declares that Abhira can never feel what it's like to become a mother, as her body will not go through the immense pain of pregnancy.

Ruhi feels bad for Abhira watching Kaveri shouting

Abhira says that Kaveri’s definition of a mother is very narrow-minded, and one does not become a mother after just giving birth to a child.

Kaveri says that a baby’s connection builds up with the mother from their first heartbeat, which has already been formed with Ruhi.

Abhira sheds tears as Kaveri says that Ruhi is the true mother of that baby, as she is carrying them in her womb for 9 months.

Kaveri gives the example of Armaan rejecting Vidya as his mother after Shivani returned to his life, which leaves Vidya heartbroken.

Ruhi witnesses Kaveri’s angry outburst and how Abhira feels hurt while she sobs for her inability to give birth.
